President of the Squirrel’s Free and Open Democratic Republic of Freedom

“And with this Great Squirrel Army the Squirrel’s Free and Open Democratic Republic of Freedom we shall slay the Cats and the Dogs, and the Raccoons, and the Snakes, enslave the humans to bring us our nuts and trees, and then I- I mean the Squirrel’s Free and Open Democratic Republic of Freedom shall rule this land!
“But Squirrels must beware of the Predator sympathizers! They want nothing more but to see your pups eaten and your trees cut down! If you hear something, if you see something, say something.
“And now we will see the power of the Squirrel’s Free and Open Democratic Republic of Freedom with the execution of the Predator sympathizers!”

Aby

Found this lady wile walking to a store. I didn’t have my DSLR so used my phone camera. I had to zoom in a bit which gave the full size image that weird look that zoomed in phone images get.

The Girls are Jealous of my Gorgeous Hair

Saw this Snowy Egret at City Park when I was taking photos of the nesting Cormorants. A very beautiful bird, I got a photo of one last year (maybe the same one) and have used it a the wallpaper on my phone sense. I love their plumage, how it looks like long hair. Bet their all metal heads.

True Joy!

After making a few weird smileys I kind of have myself a template. The first two I just started making something with out any goal, this on I had an idea in my head before I started it. The idea for the text came to me afterwards.

Beaver Dam

Not actually sure if it’s a bearer dam (I would have had to head back in the direction I came, went over a bridge then went back down to get a closer look) but it looks like a beaver damn.

Common Grackle Singing In a Tree

That is not a good name for such a beautiful bird. The way the light refracts in its feathers giving the blues and greens is just gorgeous.

Black Vulture

Black Vulture in flight then resting on a tree.

Saw this guys in South Platte Park. I know these images are not good (in the first sun was behind the clouds and the opposite direction I was facing, in the second I was trying to get closer to get a better photo and it flew away). I know it looks like it could be the light making it look like a Black Vulture but when I saw it with my eyes it had a black head. I didn’t realize how rare that was until I looked up “Black Vulture”. I’m now glad I saw it but saddened by how the pictures turned out.
